Why Choose Regal Nails?

Regal Nails is the obvious choice if you are a busy adult wanting to get your nails done before or after running your errands.

Most of their locations are located directly in Walmart stores and Supercenters and are easily accessible as you are running your errands or grabbing groceries for the evening. You can even combine a pedicure with a new hairstyle at a SmartStyle hair salon which is also located inside many Walmarts.

Some locations offer online booking to make your experience as seamless and simple as possible. Others offer walk-in appointments only or offer appointments via telephone, which is recommended during prime hours. However, most of the time, you can get in quite quickly when you simply show up.

This nail salon is the perfect choice whether you are a single adult wanting to get ready for a special weekend, a bachelorette looking for a great experience with your friends, or a mom looking for a bonding experience with your daughter.

The environment is surprisingly calm and luxurious for being located inside Walmart, and your experience is sure to be relaxing. You will enjoy the calming colors and modern environment along with the relaxing, ergonomic chairs.

Services Offered

Rather than spreading their time and energy over several service areas, Regal Nails locations focus on what they do best, which is providing great manicures and pedicures and helping your nails look healthy.

If you want a relaxing experience, opt for one of their pedicure services, which is done in an ergonomic massage chair. Regal offers several price points depending on the color and service chosen. The spa pedicure offers a truly luxurious experience.

However, Regal Nails shines when it comes to manicure services. Many locations offer the trendiest nail designs, including gel nails and the newer dip powder manicures.

They also offer traditional styles, such as French tips. No matter what type of manicure you’d like, Regal Nails probably offers it.

You may also want to consider some of their add-on services, such as polish removal, nail art, or a simple polish change. If your nails are not as healthy as you would like, ask your location about nail repair or removal.

Products Sold

Regal Nails focuses mainly on manicure and pedicure services. However, some sell the salon-quality nail polishes they use at the front desk. In addition, you may also want to purchase a gift card to the salon as a special surprise for someone special in your life.

Keep in mind that all locations are franchised, and what may be sold at one location may differ significantly from products sold at another.

Company History

Today, Regal Nails is known as a large franchised nail salon business with over 900 locations across the country. However, it started much smaller, with its initial history originating from a Walmart in Brooklyn, Ohio.

It quickly branched out by moving a second location into a Walmart in Louisiana. A different salon was supposed to take over the space, but when they pulled out at the last minute, Regal Nails immediately filled the void.

The rest is history, as the brand is now known for its major presence in many Walmart locations across the country.

The brand has obviously been quite successful as it has built up many locations since its inception in 1997. In fact, it is the largest nail salon franchise in the United States. Because each location is franchised, every salon is independently owned and operated under the Regal name.

Today, the brand continues to attract many new clients while retaining prior customers as well, thanks to its wide range of nail services and its low prices. Customers are consistently impressed by the quality of services here, the clean environment, and the expert knowledge of the nail technicians.

New Regal locations that offer even more services have begun opening in the past few years. These locations operate under the Regal Nails, Salon & Spa name, but they have the same core values that the original brand does.

  1. Very happy with the mani-pedi experience I had at Regal today! The pedicure included a hot stone massage as well as a hot towel massage! The hot towel was also a treat during manicure! Hannah and her husband were very sweet and the Spa is clean and welcoming. The process was very relaxing and the prices are fair. **** 4 stars!

  2. I have been a customer for two years and the customer service is garbage the Nail technicians barely speak English and the head tech in charge is extremely rude this place could be a much better business if they had a lot more training on how to deal with the public

    • If they are so horrible, why have u been a customer for 2 years?? Lmao. Everytime I’ve been they are super friendly and nice, never once have they been rude. Idk, maybe its different for me cause I treat them with dignity and respect and dont care what language they are speaking as long as they are able to understand and communicate well enough for me to get the service/product I want.

      • ahahaha you are funny, that’s the comment I was gonna leave. Why be a customer for so long if you don’t like it. There are a ton of nail/pedicure places in North Port

  3. I had my nails done here last month (October) and whatever they used on my nails..when I finally took them off 2 of them were painful and cracked(my real nail). I’m not satisfied with this because it completely ruined my nails. I know fake nails ruin your real nails but my real nails have NEVER been cracked and I’ve never had painful experience taking them off at other nail places. I wish I could get my money back. It’s not worth the money for something that literally ruins your nails

    • I believe your nails are better off letting the salon take them off, in used to get acrylic nails done and that’s what I did, salon soaked in solution helps them come off better, where as doing by myself my nails also split, tore, etc..

    • Wellk you know now that yoiur nails they put on arent going to fall off easily. I love them, my nails stay till I get them done again, could be 3 weeks or 5 weeks, also looks good till then.

  4. I’ve been going for years to same one but the lady in charge wants techs to move fast when its busy and since I have large nails, my tech, who is good, had to speed it up. I could tell that’s what she told the tech and as a result, not only am I rushed, she skips the hand lotion at the end so I pay full price but don’t get full service. I haven’t been back!

  6. I have been there several times. The first time I got the gel nails it was wonderful and lasted several weeks. The third time I got the gel manicure they started peeling within two days. I didn’t make a special trip down there to tell them but when I did stop by it had been over 10 days since I got them done. They never apologized or offered a discount. This was Regal Nails in Walmart in Wilton. I told them they list a customer and they did t care.

  7. I am very unhappy with the service that I got and the way my nails turned out.
I was the first customer of the day, so they were not busy, yet she rushed me through selecting a color and was very rough
I ask her twice to be more gentle, it was a painful experience and the end result is terrible.
    My nails look awful.
And to top it off , she charged me $40.00
I will never go there again.

    Terrible
    0/5.

    After reopening after lockdowns
Cut pedicure time down to 20 mins, cut out 2/3 the process, no bath salts, or soap in pedicure bath water, steps in polish process removed Resulting in polish peeling off. Pedicure poorly done.

Not honouring set appts, triple booking appts and cutting the time of treatment down to 1/3-1/2.
    End result is terrible.

    Never going back,
    Going to do it myself.
    Order the products on AMAZON.

  11. On Monday, July 19, 2021 I went in for an appt. I had made for a pedicure and manicure at The Christiansburg, VA store in Walmart. The pedicure was first and it was very bad. She scrubbed my foot so hard that I finally had to stop her. She said she would do it softer. But she moved to the other side of the foot and, again, I had to stop her because she was hurting me. She looked down, and she had caused a spot where my foot was actually bleeding. She put some kind of, what I assumed was antibiotic cream on it, then put a band aid on it. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized the first spot she had injured on the other side of the foot was oozing blood and was twice the size of the injury on the other side of the foot. I have pictures, but I haven’t figured out how to upload on this site, but if you want proof, let me know where to send it. I had to bandage both sites to be able to wear shoes! This was my first time at this shop and, to make it clear, it WILL be my last. I am looking for the local web page and Facebook page to keep others from being hurt here. I actually paid to have wounds….I don’t see a place to “give stars” but be assured, it would be zero.

  12. I went there to get my nails done for a wedding, i got a set of gel nails and my toes polished. I got charged way more then whats on there website. I ended up with fungus on my thumb nail, I thought well maybe it won’t happen again, So I went back for a fill in and my toes polished,I ended up with toe fungus. I didn’t notice the prices until i looked on their website, I was shocked how much they overcharged me everytime.and i even gave them a tip everytime. I feel duped. But the money to me is bad enough but the fungus is too much. No matter i can not go back there. I noticed they never sanitize their stations after each client. they hop back and forth spreading the fungus. Oh I went to the Regal nails in the walmart in uniontown store.

  14. Regal nail salon can not ever get my service again. I have walk in with my daughter after a long flight of travel from Louisiana to Pennsylvania. I went to Walmart shopping and seen the nail salon. This guy direct this inexperienced lady to do my nails. I never knew anyone there and know how they do nails. She kept putting CRIT on my nails making them look thick. I didn’t like that. She file my nails uneven til I couldn’t take it anymore. I have told her I was unplease, so another lady came to fix my nails. It really looked like my 5 Year old did my nails. Everyone was rude. i walk in at 4 p.m. and didn’t walk out til 8 p.m. I will never go back to them.
