Sally Hershberger’s salons trace their history to their founder’s early working life. Sally Hershberger started as a hairdresser at the Arthur John’s Salon. From her early career in hairdressing, Sally got to work with famous artists and celebrities who would frequent the salon.
One of the hairstyles she did on Meg Ryan for her debut in the 1995 movie French Kiss catapulted her into popularity amongst celebrity circles. The popularity of the Meg Ryan shag cut also made her a sought-after hairstylist.
Thanks to her popularity as a hairstylist, Sally finally opened her first salon in 2000 in Los Angeles. Later, she opened new branches in New York, offering the same quality hair care service as she did in her Los Angeles Salon.
