Andreia Guilmet is the founder of Brazilian Wax. This woman started her career in the waxing industry at only 13 years old while living in Brazil, where she used the money to scrape by and provide everything she and her siblings needed to survive.
Andreia moved to the United States and made Atlanta, Georgia, her home. When she arrived, she couldn’t find a waxing boutique, prompting her to begin professionally waxing in 2000.
She saw a need for professional waxing services in Atlanta. By this time, she had at least ten years of experience waxing and was ready to expand her operation.
After careful planning and hard work, the original Brazilian Wax Salon opened its doors in 2005. After opening the original Brazilian Wax salon in Marietta, Georgia, Andreia expanded her salons throughout Atlanta and surrounding neighborhoods.
From there, Brazilian Wax franchises opened up throughout Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
